How much does a tour cost?

Our prices have two parts: the car or minibus with driver, plus $5 per person for your private guide. A 1-hour Havana classic car ride starts at $30 per car + $5 per person; 3 hours at $80 + $5 per person; a full day at $130 + $5 per person; the Viñales day trip at $200 + $5 per person; Varadero at $140 + $5 per person; Trinidad and Cienfuegos at $300 + $5 per person; and Havana airport transfers: pick-up at $35 + $5 per person, and the ride back to the airport: Free return airport transfer included with every full tour or full experience booking. Not included with single classes. (the return ride on its own is $35 + $5 per person). Our tours are made for groups and families, and tailor-made experiences are priced in a written quote. A 20% deposit confirms your booking, and it is fully refundable up to 3 days before the tour.

What signature experiences do you offer?

Alongside classic car rides, airport transfers in both directions and pasadías (day trips to Viñales, Varadero and around Havana), we run the signature experiences of our Habanaboys days: nights with living legends of Cuban music and Latin Cuban jazz at venues such as the Centro Cultural Bertolt Brecht and Fábrica de Arte Cubano, salsa at the Jardines de 1830, the Bar Jump route through bars loved by habaneros, real neighbourhoods beyond the tourist circuit with local people, Afro-Cuban roots with local protagonists, respectful encounters with Afro-Cuban religiosity, the Cuban countryside of fincas, tobacco vegas and guajiro life, Sunday rumba at the Callejón de Hamel, the Malecón at the Cubans' hour, cigars and golden-era history at the Hotel Nacional and the Hotel Riviera, salsa classes with Cuban teachers, cooking classes with local cooks, cocktail classes with local bartenders, batá drum classes with local percussionists, bachata classes with local dance teachers, Spanish classes with local teachers, yoga and boxing with local trainers, reiki and tantra with local practitioners, and sports experiences with local clubs — wrestling, boxing and baseball. Experiences based on transport follow our vehicle + $5-per-person formula; shows and encounters that depend on venues, tickets or local hosts are priced in your written booking confirmation.

In which languages are the tours guided?

Tours are guided in English, Spanish, French and German. Just tell us your preferred language when you write, and your guide will be ready.

What does a typical tour include?

Every tour includes a local guide, a route designed around your interests and pick-up in Havana — Free return airport transfer included with every full tour or full experience booking. Not included with single classes. Depending on the experience, it can also feature a vintage convertible, handpicked paladares (private family restaurants), live music and neighbourhoods beyond the postcards.

When is the best time to visit Cuba?

November to April brings the driest, mildest weather and is the most popular season. We run tours all year round, though — tell us your dates and we will plan around the season.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend writing 1–2 weeks ahead so we can secure your guide, car and favourite stops. Travelling sooner? Message us anyway — we will always try to make it happen.

Which parts of Cuba do you cover?

Havana, Viñales, Trinidad, Varadero, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa, plus tailor-made multi-day routes across the island. If your dream stop is not on the list, ask us — Cuba is big and we know it well.

Can I bring something for Cuban families?

Yes — small, voluntary gifts in your own luggage are deeply appreciated. What helps most is light and practical: powdered milk and other powdered foods, basic over-the-counter basics such as pain relievers, vitamins, antacids and simple first-aid supplies, an old phone that still works, batteries, and rechargeable fans or lamps for the frequent power cuts. Nothing big or heavy — a few useful things, given directly to the families you meet, mean the most.
